The sensation… the numbness…

Feeling absolutely nothing.

There was music in the background… but you wouldn’t understand any of the words. All you could hear was bum bum, bum bum, bum bum. Nothing ever sounded better..

The second you tried to think, your brain wouldn’t let you. All you know is that there’s a numbness… and there’s a smirk on your face and nothing can drop it down to the frown you had earlier. 

The hardwood floors start seeping into your back and you can feel the temperatures drop. The cold has never felt better and the goosebumps slowly start forming on your arms. 

No one talks to you.

No one bothers you.

There are no tears. 

You don’t even bother you.

Never again.
